There are now no unbeaten teams in Dunedin premier club rugby after Harbour and Southern lost today.

University and Harbour fought out a tight encounter at Watson Park with the students prevailing 19-16.

Harbour had a chance to draw the game at the end but opted to go for the touch. It promptly lost the lineout, the visiting side kicked the ball out and the game was over.

Reputations counted for little as Green Island held its own, to pick up a trophy double, defeating table-topping Southern 17-15 in an intense battle at Bathgate Park.

In a superb display of wet-weather rugby in the annual Selwyn Inglis Memorial Trophy match between the two sides, the victory also handed the Grizzlies the Speight's Challenge Shield for just the second time. They won in 2012, also defeating Southern 28-13.

Taieri beat Zingari-Richmond 36-8 at Peter Johnstone Park, pulling away in the second half while Kaikorai did enough to beat Alhambra-Union 26-3 at North Ground.
