University trailed Alhambra-Union by 12 points with 18 minutes remaining but scored two converted tries and a penalty to seal a dramatic 34-29 win at Forsyth Barr Stadium this afternoon.
Dunedin thrashed Kaikorai 46-19 at Bishopscourt to claim the Challenge Shield.
Harbour was too strong for Green Island, winning 33-7 at Miller Park, and Southern edged Taieri 22-15 at Bathgate Park.
