Westwood Beach mare Millwood Daisy will attempt to keep up her strong run of form at Forbury Park tonight.
The 4yr-old has returned to racing with a new lease of life since moving to Graeme Anderson's barn this season.
Millwood Daisy had competed with merit as a 2yr-old for her previous trainer, Cran Dalgety, before fading into obscurity.
Anderson has revitalised the pacer who ran a commendable second behind Debnita Rose at Forbury Park on Sunday. Millwood Daisy raced three-wide for the last 700m of that race and went down by only a neck at the finish.
Driver Dexter Dunn reunites with the mare in race 7 tonight, taking over from his brother, John Dunn.
Bookmakers opened Millwood Daisy as a $1.90 favourite last night.
The Leonie Jones-trained Life Lavros opened as the programme's shortest-priced favourite at $1.70 in race 2.
Though the horse's latest workout result shows an unplaced effort at Rangiora last week, Life Lavros went to the line hard-held.
The pacer will clash with A Better Destiny, whose connections have shown rare amounts of patience. The 4yr-old, who opened at $18, has competed in 12 trial and workout runs ahead of its first official race tonight.
