Halobelle was among a quartet of Wingatui-trained gallopers who left yesterday for a campaign in the lower North Island.
The others were Miss Millbrook, Lesley Brook and Inferno.
The quartet are in the care of Andrew Taggart and Dave Leask and will be based at Trentham.
They travelled to Christchurch yesterday.
Miss Millbrook and Inferno are engaged in the Lowland Stakes (2100m) at Trentham on Saturday.
Lesley Brook is the topweight with 58kg in the 2yr-old race the same day.
Jason Laking has the mounts on the Terry Kennedy-trained pair Miss Millbrook and Lesley Brook.
Miss Millbrook won the Dunedin Guineas on February 2.
Lesley Brook won the Welcome Stakes at Riccarton in November.
Ashlee Mundy has been engaged for the Brian and Shane Anderton-trained, Inferno, who finished third in the Dunedin Guineas.
Halobelle, winner of the Eclipse Stakes (1200m) at Wingatui this month, has the $60,000 Lightning Handicap (1200m) at Trentham on March 14 as her immediate assignment.
Trainer Wayne Stevens, who will travel to Wellington in the week leading up to that race, said Halobelle would race at Awapuni on March 28.
Lesley Brook is guaranteed a start in the $200,000 Manawatu Sires' Produce Stakes the same day.
•Pycok Flyer is making the trip from Woodville for the $50,000 rating 75 1400m race at Cromwell on Sunday.
Pycok Flyer, trained by Stephen Marsh, has been placed in two of his three starts back from a spell.
His most recent win was over 1600m at Trentham in April.
•Weekend Hussler is out of the Futurity Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday and his connections have abandoned an international campaign, AAP reports.
Margaret McDonald, wife of the trainer Ross, confirmed that Weekend Hussler had "a few niggles."
Plans are for Weekend Hussler to have an easy time for two weeks with the occasional visit to the beach.
The winner of 12 of his 19 starts and $3 million in stakes, Weekend Hussler has been unplaced at his last four starts.
•Reward For Effort, winner of the Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday, has been turned out for a few days.
Trainer Peter Moody has not decided if he will start Reward For Effort in the Golden Slipper.
Moody is concerned at the poor success rate of Blue Diamond winners in the Golden Slipper.
Alinghi is the only Blue Diamond winner to place in the Golden Slipper Stakes in the last 12 years when she finished third to Dance Hero in 2004.
•Jeff Lloyd has been granted a three-month contract by the Hong Kong Jockey Club and will start riding there next month.
The 47-year-old South African, who relocated to Sydney in 2007, is recovering from injury.
Lloyd, a multiple South African premiership winner, has ridden more than 100 winners since moving to Australia.
He won the 2008 AJC Derby on Nom Du Jeu.
He rode in Hong Kong in the 1993-94 season.
Lloyd broke a bone in his foot when dislodged from a horse in the parade ring on January 31.
He rode the horse to finish fourth.
He returned to the saddle in early last month after being concussed in a race fall on December 10 at Rosehill.
