"She [Armbro Demon] is a nice horse and I would like to stay with her," Williamson said.
"She hasn't raced for a while and hasn't had a trial lately but Chris [McLeod] is a good trainer."
Armbro Demon has not raced for five months since she won at Forbury Park in January. Williamson has driven the Armbro Invasion mare in her four starts, including a first-up win at Gore in December.
Williamson drove Maori Invasion to a dashing last-start win at Addington on July 7.
Maori Invasion has won three races from eight starts since December. Williamson knows the horse well as he is trained by his father, Phil.
Nathan Williamson, brother of Matthew, has the drive on Maori Invasion. Nathan, who lives at Invercargill, has been based with the Williamson stable at Oamaru during the winter.
Lawrence McCormick, a junior driver with the Ashworths Beach stable of Gavin Smith, will substitute for his employer in the sulky over the next three weeks.
Smith is suspended for the meeting tonight and he leaves for the United States tomorrow.
"I will see Dexter [Dunn] competing in the world driving championship and hope to secure a drive or two in America," Smith said.
Smith has trained the winners of 24 races this season compared with 17 last term.
He is in his third season as a public trainer and has boosted his strike rate since he shifted to Ashworths Beach 18 months ago.
The stable has Radar, Bet Away and Isinbayeva engaged tonight.
Radar (race 8) won at Addington last Friday when having his first start.
Bet Away was relegated from first at Forbury Park the previous night which resulted in Smith being suspended.
Sun Of Loose, the winner of five races, is a newcomer to the Smith stable.
"He [Sun Of Loose] has had a number of problems and John Hay suggested he would be worth trying on the beach," Smith said.
Sun Of Loose, who last raced in March, won five races for Hay.
Dream Out Loud could be the anchor for Pick6 bettors.

The world driving championship commences about 4.40am on Monday (NZ time) with the first round at Chester.
