Mighty Memories was claimed for $4000 and Onward Christian for $4500 last night.
Mighty Memories is headed to Queensland after being bought by Garth Ritchie, who made the trip to Dunedin.
He won yesterday on the Gold Coast with Renee Sivad, a former Southland pacer, who has won twice from as many starts in his ownership. Renee Sivad ran 1.56.
Ritchie has Commander In Chief having his first start at Albion Park tomorrow night.
Commander In Chief was a useful winner when trained at Winton by Robert Gorman, who has been advising Ritchie on purchases.

• Jaccka Justy is returning to the Invercargill stable of Nathan Williamson after winning his two starts under the direction of owner Charlie Smaill.
Jaccka Justy won in dashing style at Forbury Park last night 12 days after an easy win at Invercargill. Jaccka Justy has now won three of his four starts.
"I think it is time he went back to someone who knows more about training than me," Smaill said.
Jaccka Justy won first up at Invercargill in December when trained by Williamson.
"He started doing things wrong after his first win and I took him home, gave him a couple of weeks off and worked him up again," Smaill said.
Jaccka Justy is a brother of Jaccka Jack, the winner of 11 races for the Charlie and Ailsa Smaill from the Ryal Bush stable of Murray Gray. Jaccka Jack is being spelled. He did not handle the right-handed track when raced in Auckland last month.
Smaill also had a hand in Final Patrol, a maiden winner last night. Final Patrol was left an orphan when her dam, On Patrol, died four hours after foaling.
"She [Final Patrol] was hand reared at Jaccka Lodge by Charlie Smaill," recalled Ian Bennett, the Te Houka owner-breeder of Final Patrol.
"They couldn't get another mare to take the foal."
On Patrol is also the dam of On The Double (10 wins), Lord Patrol (11), On Leave and On Sky, who ran 1.50.4 in North America.
"I had almost given up on her [Final Patrol] as a racing proposition, but it seems she has just come to it," Bennett said.
The 4yr-old daughter of Badlands Hanover was having her ninth start. She is trained by Alan Paisley at Longbush.
