• Terrorway remained unbeaten in three starts when successful at Winton yesterday in his first race for four months. He gave trainers Graeme Anderson and Amber Hoffman their 24th win for the season. They share the lead with Phil Williamson among Otago and Southland trainers this season.
Poacher and Ya Dreamin will be spelled after wins at Winton yesterday for Winton trainer Des Baynes. It was the fourth win of the season for Poacher, a 3yr-old raced by The Test syndicate. Three of his wins have been at Winton. He has been driven in his wins by Brendon McLellan. Ya Dreamin, also a 3yr-old, has won twice at Winton in six starts.
Baynes has left Windproof in the care of Peter Davis at West Melton. "She missed a race at Addington on Friday due to seedy toe," Baynes said.
