Towzan is set to resume racing at the Otago meeting on October 15 after a trial win at Wingatui yesterday.
Towzan held off the fast-finishing Slip Into Satin after leading over 1000m on the inside grass Towzan, who has not raced since May, won an open 1200m at Wingatui in March.
