Jimmy Choux won the $1 million New Zealand One Thousand Guineas (1600m) at Riccarton at his last start following success in the Hawke's Bay Guineas.
Jimmy Choux has drawn 15, but he will come in to 11 if the emergencies do not make the field.
Riddell has ridden Jimmy Choux in his two recent wins. Riddell won the Levin Classic last year on the filly Eileen Dubh.
The filly We Can Say It Now, an unlucky runner in the One Thousand Guineas, is a $3.20 favourite with the New Zealand TAB.
She was promoted to fourth in the One Thousand Guineas after striking interference in the run home. Leith Innes has replaced Mark Du Plessis as the rider. Innes has won the Levin Classic on Tobruk (1998), Ambitious Owner (2004) and Keepa Cruisin (2007).
Ambitious Owner was trained by Murray Baker, who trains We Can Say It Now with his son, Bjorn.
Murray won the Levin Classic with Eagle Eye in 1990. The Baker stable also has Lady Kipling in the race today. She finished fourth behind Salvatore in the weight-for-age Tauranga Stakes (1600m) at her last start.
Noel Harris, who rode Eagle Eye, has the mount on Blinding today.
Keepa Cruisin is among three fillies who have won the race in the past four years. We Can Say It Now has drawn one, which may not be to her advantage. She had the same draw in the Thousand Guineas and settled three back of the inner. She had come from well back to win the Sarten Memorial at Te Rapa at her previous start.
