Trainer Mark Kavanagh and owner Laurence Eales are now looking to go global with Melbourne Cup winner Shocking.
Stablemate Whobegotyou has already been invited to the Dubai World Cup meeting in March and Kavanagh said there was a chance Shocking would join him.
"They said if Shocking won the Melbourne Cup he would get an invitation," Kavanagh said.
"We will have to see how he comes through the race.
"March is not that far away so it will depend on how long a spell we can give him.
"But it's definitely an option." Both Whobegotyou and Shocking are by Darley stallion Street Cry who is returning to Australia after an absence of two seasons.
Darley is the breeding arm of Dubai ruler Sheikh Mohammed's thoroughbred operation.
