Whoshe became only the second filly to win the Wanganui Guineas in the past 20 years with a decisive success on Saturday.
It was the third win in six starts for the daughter of Storm Creek and Lesley Coup, who cost Ohura owner Red MacDonald $5000 at a New Zealand Bloodstock weanling sale.
Whoshe is trained at Te Awamutu by Richard Otto and Mark Brooks, who also produced Myths and Legends to finish second in the Great Northern Steeplechase.
Whoshe has been nominated for both the Two Thousand and One Thousand Guineas at Riccarton in November.
"She is a pretty tough filly and we will just see how she gets through her race on Saturday before deciding where she will go next," Otto said.
The options are the Soliloquy Stakes (1400m) at Ellerslie on September 24 or the Hawkes Bay Guineas (1400m) on October 1.
The Wanganui Guineas was over 1340m and Otto said the 1200m of the Gold Trail Stakes at Hastings on September 17 would be too short for Whoshe.
Sista (2004) is the other filly to win the Wanganui Guineas in the last two decades. Tit For Taat, winner of the race in 2000, carried on to win the Two Thousand Guineas.
Brooks joined Otto this season after being involved in pre-training. Otto's brother, Chris, left the partnership to return to dairy farming.
Whoshe is the fourth foal of Lesley Coup, a Prized mare who won first up as a 3yr-old at Wingatui in 2001. She was placed in three of a further eight starts.
• Dowager Queen, who came from last at the 600m to win the listed 1200m race for 3yr-old fillies on Saturday, has been entered for the One Thousand Guineas. She is trained by Graeme and Debbie Rogerson, who won the Guineas double in 2009 with Katie Lee.
Rogerson won the fillies race at Wanganui in 1992 with Sillusion and 2006 with Chartreuse.
Facing The Music won the Two Thousand Guineas in 1993 after success in the Wanganui race.
