Major Mark continued his preparation for the Harness Jewels with a win at the Addington trials yesterday.
The talented 2yr-old won the 0-3w heat over 2000m (mobile) in a 2.02.6 mile rate, the last 800 in 57.9, the final 400 in 28.9.
Major Mark has five wins, a second and a third from seven starts.
McBeth's Boy, a last-start winner at Ascot Park on Saturday for Winton trainer Tim White, is to be trained by Graeme Rogerson and Steven Reid.
The Artiscape 4yr-old has won three of his 18 starts.
