Crusader Command was a last-start winner at Forbury Park on August 12 in the hands of Blair Orange.
He is eligible for the race tonight through being driven by a concession junior driver.
"Carl drove Crusader Command to finish second at Forbury Park during the winter so he knows the horse," Faulks said.
Crusader Command finished second to Aleana that night.
Faulks has scratched last-start winner Pattisun who was showing signs of a cold.
Stablemate Little Miss Priss has been scratched due to a greasy heel.
The in-form stable also has Lifes Decision, Bad Aveross, Silky Armbro and Raven Aveross engaged.
Lifes Decision, a last-start winner at Forbury Park, has drawn one for his first standing start in race 10.
• Le Sol and Cinte are back in the Waikiwi stable of Tony Stratford.
Le Sol won the New Zealand Kindergarten Stakes at Wyndham in 1.54.3 in February when trained by Stratford.
The McArdle gelding subsequently won a heat of the Sires' Stakes at Addington from the stable of Mark Purdon and Grant Payne.
Cinte won at Ascot Park at her second start as a 3yr-old for Stratford in April, 2008.
She had a second from four starts last season when trained by her owner, Ian Wilson.
Armbro Winger is now trained by Andrew Stuart at Rangiora, who has become the owner of the 6yr-old.
Armbro Winger was unplaced in two starts for Wayne Higgs who claimed the gelding at Forbury Park in June.
Armbro Winger won five races for Graeme Anderson and Amber Hoffman.
