Todd Mitchell is back driving Baileys Dream in the Easter Cup next Saturday.
This was confirmed by his Kaiapoi trainer Brendon Hill.
Baileys Dream was driven by Hill when the 8yr-old won the listed Paul Renwick Free-For-All at Addington on Friday night.
Baileys Dream led and lasted by half a head from Second Wind.
"I suppose I did go a bit slow in front but he just felt so relaxed and he ran his last quarter in 26.1," Hill said.
"He has really come through the race well."
Mitchell has driven Baileys Dream in 11 of his 23 wins, including the 2008 Ashburton Flying Stakes.
Baileys Dream won the 2006 Easter Cup in the hands of Ricky May when trained by Steven Reid.
Hill trained Monkey King for his Easter Cup win last year.
Monkey King also won in 2008 for Reid.
Mitchell has won the Easter Cup behind Gracious Knight (2002) and Facta Non Verba (2000).
Power Of Tara joined the Hill stable at Kaiapoi last week after being bought by Robert Famularo, the owner of Baileys Dream.
The 7yr-old Power Of Tara, the winner of 17 races and $509,510, was previously trained by Barry Purdon and Scott Phelan at Clevedon.
Power Of Tara had his most recent win in a ffa in Launceston in December.
He won a Fremantle Cup.
The Live Or Die gelding had his first four wins when trained at Kaiapoi by David Thompson.
The 2yr-old filly Jumpforjoy won first up at Winton yesterday in 1.56.5 for the mile.
She equalled the track record for her age set by the colt Courage Tells last month.
The daughter of Bettors Delight and Joyfulbelle is raced by her breeders Clark Barron (the trainer-driver) and Alex McDonald.
Jumpforjoy is a half-sister to Joyfuljoy, winner of 10 races.
Joyfuljoy took a mile record of 1.54.5 when winning the Harness Jewels for 3yr-old fillies at Ashburton last season.
Joyfuljoy had a fifth and a third in two starts for Barron before she was bought by Ian Dobson.
Vicki Wishart, who renewed her licence to train this season after a break of two years, won with The Walrus at Methven yesterday.
She bred The Walrus, a 3yr-old half-brother to Sorenstam, whom she trained to win a race at Washdyke in May 2007.
