I Am Legend, an impressive winner at Forbury Park on Saturday night, will back up in a race for junior drivers at Ashburton on Thursday, his co-trainer, Graeme Anderson, said.

"He could be a star in the making," Anderson said.

I Am Legend cruised home to win by a length and a-half after racing in the open close to the pace.

It was his second win in four starts since the 3yr-old began racing with a win at Forbury Park on October 7.

He was among three winners for Anderson and Amber Hoffman on Saturday night.

They also won with McKenzie Jaccka and Christian Brother.

They could also take credit for the win of Shesachristian, who had been in their Westwood Beach stable for the previous 12 days.

She will now be transferred from Mark Jones to wind up her racing career.

It was a stunning form reversal by Shesachristian, who led all the way and won by three lengths.

Shesachristian was left with Anderson and Hoffman after she finished second last, 26 lengths from the winner in the Tuapeka Cup.

She had been off the winning list for 20 months and 28 starts.

"A change of environment has obviously done the trick. She is in foal to McArdle and she will not race for much longer," Jones said.

Jones contacted the owners after the race and they accepted his advice to transfer Shesachristian, who was sent out favourite on Saturday night.

The mare has won six races and $123,000 in stakes.

Christian Banner overcame a second line draw to clear maiden ranks stylishly.

He is a 3yr-old colt by Christian Cullen from Mighty Asset, bought by Wendy Muldrew (partner of Anderson) for $43,000 at the 2009 Premier Yearling Sale.

She races the colt with Anderson, Tony Gow, and Lindsay Young, both of Mosgiel.
