Sea Spray Darling will be racing out of the Pukekohe stable of Jeff Crouth at Cambridge tomorrow night.
The 8yr-old trotting mare was claimed for $6000 by Vaughan Blanchard and Allan Nicolson when she won her last start at Alexandra Park on August 8.
It was her fifth win since she began racing from the Palmerston North stable of Stephen Doody in January.
She has not finished further back than fifth in her last eight starts.
Her other win was at Motukarara in April, 2006 when trained at Methven by Carl Markham.
Sea Spray Darling won first up for Doody at Wanganui and added wins at Palmerston North, New Plymouth and Alexandra Park (two).
Blanchard, a junior driver and son of trainer Peter Blanchard, is employed by Crouth.
He will drive Sea Spray Darling.
She has a claiming price of $7500.
Blanchard has bought Wee Willem out of the North Taieri stable of Craig Buchan.
Wee Willem, now seven, won five races from 64 starts when raced by Buchan, Catherine and Jane Wood, Murray Walshaw, Phil Stirling and Arthur Booth.
Just Shoot Me is now in the Tuhikaramea stable of Graeme Rogerson and Peter Simpson.
The 7yr-old, who won two races for Whiterig owner-trainer Ross Wilson, is now owned by Rogerson.
• Dexter Dunn is driving at Addington on Friday night and Invercargill on Sunday after a four-day break in Victoria.
He will continue his association with Partywiththehotgirl and The Fat Controller at Addington.
His drives at Invercargill include Beaudiene Terminator, whom he drove when the horse was disqualified from first at Forbury Park last Thursday night.
He admitted a charge of careless driving in regard to that race.
The hearing will continue at Invercargill.
Graeme Anderson, the trainer of Beaudiene Terminator, was critical of the way the inquiry was handled.
He is pursuing the matter with Harness Racing New Zealand.
Waihemo Cullen, the winner of five races, including four last season, will be out of action until next year.
The Andrew Faulks-trained pacer underwent a tendon split after developing soreness in February.
