Brendon Hill, the Kaiapoi trainer of Carabella, confirmed the filly would travel to Melbourne for the Oaks at Melton on July 15.
Carabella has recorded 13 wins and a second in 14 starts. She has 10 wins and a second in 11 starts this season.
The daughter of Bettor's Delight and Andress Blue Chip, raced by Cavalla Bloodstock Ltd, has included five group one races among her tally - the Harness Jewels at her last start, New Zealand Oaks, Sires' Stakes Final, Northern Oaks and Sires' Stakes Championship.
Hill arrived in Auckland on Sunday with Ultimate Player, Timely Perfection and Dakota Grace. The trio are engaged at Alexandra Park on Friday night with Ricky May the driver.
May has partnered Carabella in 11 wins.
"I think Ultimate Player is a better horse than when he raced at Auckland in December," Hill said.
"It is the first time at Auckland for Dakota Grace and Timeless Perfection, which is always a question mark."
Ultimate Player finished second from three starts in December. The winner, Eridanus, recorded a 1.57.2 mile rate for the 2200m (mobile).
Ultimate Player, a Dream Away gelding, has won twice at Addington and twice finished second in four starts after a spell.
Dakota Grace quit maiden ranks at Addington on May 27 at her last start.
Timeless Perfection has won five of her six starts, the last two at Addington after an 18 month lay-off through injury.
