Anderson and co-trainer Amber Hoffman also won with Terrorway, Raven, Grae Rex and No Courage Russell from their Westwood Beach stable.
The five winners were driven by Dexter Dunn, who took his tally for the season to a record 218. He was due back home in Christchurch at 4am today and set to travel to Blenheim two and a-half hours later. He is booked to fly to Auckland for further engagements after the meeting there.
Tom And Grace was recording his maiden win at his third start.
He [Tom And Grace] has terrific potential as he is still green. It is sad that Trevor did not live to see his win, Anderson said.
Tom And Grace was disqualified from third the previous week after leaving stride in the closing stages.
Anderson fitted the 3yr-old with a pacifier, running overcheck and rein pole last night following a smart trial on Tuesday in the hands of Hoffman.
Dunn did not rush Tom And Grace early and took him to the front at the 1000m of the 2200m. Tom And Grace held on to win comfortably.
Nicolson, who lived at Arrowtown, raced other horses with Anderson, including Ants, Armbro Winger and Fiery Count.
Raven joined the stable a fortnight ago.
Terrorway is unbeaten in five starts.
Little Joe was claimed for $4000 by Roslyn Bush trainer Murray Swain after finishing second to Raven. The Swain-trained Mighty Memories was claimed for $4000 at Forbury Park on June 2.
• White Socks vindicated the faith of his Poolburn owners Neville Armstrong and Graham Sinnamon when he cleared maiden ranks last night after a two-year break from racing.
His win was also a feather in the cap of Roxburgh trainers Geoff and Judy Knight.
He [White Socks] has broken down twice. He went in a front tendon and then in a suspensory ligament on a second preparation, Armstrong said.
White Socks had his other start for Wallacetown trainer Alister Black.
He was transferred to the Knights for straight line training on grass.
A 5yr-old gelding by Courage Under Fire, White Socks is one of three foals left by Ima Chip, who won five races for the same owners when trained by Lionel Sinnamon.
Three of her foals died and she failed to conceive in two seasons. One of her progeny could not win in 30 starts and another did not race.
