Waikouati trainer Amber Hoffman's hopes of again playing a starring role at Forbury Park tonight are headed by Mighty Empire.
The horsewoman won three races at the track two weeks ago and brings a team of six to try to repeat that feat, or do even better, tonight.
Mighty Empire comes into race 7 in outstanding form.
The 6yr-old ran second to Kiwis On Show in a sizzling 1.52.2 mile at Wyndham two starts ago, before running second to Calendar Girlz on the grass at Oamaru.
''She had never been a horse that you could drive for one run but in her last two starts she has got back and run home really well,'' Hoffman said.
''She has worked really well since her last run and her last hopple run was super.''
Where Mighty Empire gets to in the run will be up to driver Matthew Williamson to decide as she has enough gate speed to take up a handy position.
Hoffman also lines up Raphoe and To Ri Alby - two of her three winners at the last Forbury Park meeting - in the race.
To Ri Alby has drawn nicely in barrier 2 with Blair Orange, while Raphoe and Robbie Close will start from the outside of the front line.
''Because of the draws I would lean towards To Ri Alby ahead of Raphoe,'' Hoffman said.
''From barrier 2 he should run in the money, you would think.''
Their biggest rival looks to be Tony Stratford-trained 3yr-old, Simply Dreaming.
The horse looked smart in three career runs before being wiped out of contention
early in his last start at Ascot Park.
Hoffman lines up Highview Justice in race 6, a race limited to junior drivers.
Like Mighty Empire, the horse has found good recent form when driven with one run.
Drawing barrier 1 means driver Todd Quate should get every opportunity to put Highview Justice in a cosy spot on the markers.
''If he sat two or three back on the markers doing no work he would have to be a great place chance,'' Hoffman said.
Quate also drives the Hoffman-trained Landora's Lassie, the third of the trainer's recent winning treble.
The horse steps out of the non-win grade for the first time tonight, but got an ideal race to so, Hoffman said.
The trainer also has Imran Khan, to be driven by Blair Orange, in the same race.
The 5yr-old's chances would depend on how quickly he could step away as he needed to be handy in the field, she said.
