A photo on a social media site is the only update Winter Games organisers have had on American snowboarder Shaun White's injury.
The two-time Olympic gold medallist posted a photo on his Instagram account of his foot in a bandage after he crashed out in training at Cardrona Alpine Resort on Sunday, games media manager Victoria Murray-Orr said.
He elected to take no further part in the men's world cup slopestyle competition which was scheduled for yesterday but due to weather conditions was cancelled.
Murray-Orr ''hasn't had any feedback'' on whether White will still compete in the world cup halfpipe event, which has qualifiers at Cardrona on Thursday and the finals on Saturday.
