Dunedin pair Saige Evans and Billie Allan placed eighth in the FISAF world championships in the Czech Republic earlier this month.

The Queens Aerobics duo competed in the youth teams division. They placed seventh in their semifinal round to make it through to the final, where they placed eighth overall.

Invercargill-based Queens Aerobics athlete Dani Kramers competed in the youth individual division.

There were 29 competitors in the age division and she placed eighth in her preliminary round and qualified for semifinals the following day.

The judging panel took the top 15 through to the semifinals and Kramers placed 10th overall in her semifinal.

The top eight progress to the final, so she missed the cut. But Kramers received positive feedback from the judges following her semifinals performance.

They commented on the creativity and overall uniqueness of the choreography.

The judges described her routine as memorable and refreshing.

Coaches Annelise Lowther and Kirsty Snoep were commended for the choreography.

Kylie Lyders, from Game On Aerobics in Christchurch, competed in the adult individual division. She placed 14th in the preliminary round and missed out on a spot in the semifinals.
