Dunstan thrower Mac Denniston has been named in the three-person New Zealand secondary schools para team to compete at the Australian track and field championships in Perth in April.
Denniston, who represented New Zealand at the Oceania championships where he won bronze last year, will compete in the F34 senior and under-20 shot put, discus and javelin. Charli Gardiner-Hall (Waiuku College) has been selected for the F37 under-20 shot put, discus and javline and Amy Ellis (New Plymouth Girls’ High School) has been selected for the T13 under-20 100m and 200m. — APL
