Biathlon: New Zealand Olympian Sarah Murphy (21) won the individual 15km biathlon at the Canadian national championships last week, completing her race nearly 2min ahead of second-placed Melanie Schultz (Canada).
Murphy, a dual Canadian-New Zealand national, competed in her first Winter Olympics at Whistler and finished 82nd in both her events.
She was in top shooting form at the nationals, hitting 18 out of 20 targets.
