
Wānaka’s Hana Carnie broke her Otago 13 years 200m backstroke record and lowered her own 50m and 100m backstroke records.
Carnie collected gold in the 13 years 50m, 100m and 200m back stroke, silver in the 100m freestyle and bronze in the 50m and 200m freestyle.
Clubmate Luisa Palmer broke her own Otago 15 years 50m backstroke record and the 100m IM record. Palmer won silver in the 15 years 100m and 200m IM, 100m and 200m freestyle, 50m and 200m backstroke, and bronze in the 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke.
Olympian Caitlin Deans won silver in the open 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle — breaking the Otago record in the latter — and the 200m butterfly. Aquablack Esme Paterson broke her own Otago open 50m butterfly record and won gold in the open 200m.
Kiwi swimmer Alfie Weatherston-Harvey set an Otago 17 years 200m backstroke record to win gold. He also broke the Otago 17 years 800m freestyle record on his way to winning gold.
He also won gold in the men’s 17-18years 1500m freestyle — and bronze in the men’s open race — and silver in the 400m and open 800m freestyle.
Neo Salomonsson shattered a 21-year old Otago record in the 16 years 200m butterfly and broke two of his own records in the 16 years 100m freestyle and 50m butterfly.
The Kiwi swimmer won gold in the 16 years 50m and 100m butterfly and silver in the 200m butterfly and IM.
Annalise Miller (Neptune) won gold in the 13 years 200m 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle and bronze in the 100m freestyle and Lily McGrath (Neptune) won silver in the 15 years 50m breaststroke and bronze in the 100m IM.
Emilia Finer (Neptune) won bronze in the open 400m IM and 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle. Liam Reese (Kiwi) won bronze in the 17-18 years 200m backstroke and 100m IM.
