Eyes on the prize

Auckland eight ball player Molrudee Kasemchaiyanan lines up a shot at the national eight-ball championships in Dunedin over the weekend.

She dominated the women’s section, winning the final 8-0 to defend her title.

Her partner, Matt Edwards, also of Auckland, won the men’s section in just as commanding a fashion.To complete a clean sweep, Auckland won the teams event.

Just under 90 players lined up in the event over the long weekend, which was at Bowey’s pool lounge.
