The five overseas teams for the Super Club competition have been announced.
This season features South African champion the Gauteng Jaguars, Singapore’s Sneakers, Scotland’s UWS Sirens, the New South Wales Institute of Sport and a combined Fiji Samoa side.
They will join the top three ANZ Premiership teams - the Central Pulse, Southern Steel and either the Mainland Tactix or Northern Mystics - in the eight-team competition.
The tournament will be held in Nelson on August 19-24.
Last year’s competition was won by the Steel, which capped an unbeaten season with a 79-58 win over the Northern Mystics in the final.
