Dunedin made it two wins from two when they beat Hawke’s Bay 44-27 at the New Zealand open championships in Auckland yesterday.
They led just 11-10 after the first quarter and 23-19 at halftime but completely dominated the second half.
Dunedin will face their toughest challenge when they play Christchurch in their final pool game this morning. Both sides are, however, safely through to the quarterfinals.
