No fairytale end for Warriors great

The New Zealand Warriors’ retiring halfback, Shaun Johnson, walks out with his family, including ex-Silver Fern wife Kayla Johnson (nee Cullen), before his team’s round 25 NRL match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs at Shaun Johnson Stadium (aka Mount Smart Stadium) in Auckland last night. Unfortunately, the Warriors could not send their 222-match veteran off in style, going down to the Dogs 34-18 after leading 18-16 at halftime.
