Otago has finished runner-up at the inter provincial golf tournament this afternoon.
After beating North Harbour 3-2 in the semifinal this morning, Otago took on Auckland in the final this afternoon in Hastings.
It was in the match early but fell away against the young Aucklanders to go down 5-0.
It was Auckland’s first win in 25 years while the drought continues for Otago which has finished runner-up three times in recent years.
