Auckland professional Tae Koh hit a stunning 61 in his final round to win the NZPGA tournament at Te Puke yesterday.
Koh was sitting fourth going into the final round but went on a scoring blitz yesterday and ended up on 23 under.
He hit 31 on the front nine and then came home with a 30, including an eagle on the par fifth 18th. He tallied an 11 under score for his final round, with seven birdies and two eagles.
He finished one shot ahead of Josh Geary while Ryan Fox was a further shot back.
Geary hit a 65, seven-under yesterday while Fox hit a six-under and also grabbed an eagle on the last hole.
Queenstown golfer Ben Campbell managed to finish tied for 15th on eight under.
