Logan (17) will join Daniel Hillier (Wellington), Henry Spring (Bay of Plenty) and Harry Hillier (Bay of Plenty) in the event at the Ulverstone Golf Club on April 13-15.
The event is open to all junior golfers under the age of 18 on the first day of competition.
The event will be contested over 72 holes strokeplay with a handicap limit of four and a cut after the first 36 holes.
Within the event, the Kiwi golfers will be competing for the Transtasman Cup against their Australian counterparts.
The lowest three scores in each round will count towards the team total with the lower aggregate winning the trophy.
The previous such event was played in 2012, in Victoria, when the Australian juniors took the honours.
Logan was the reserve for the men's team at the national interprovincial team tournament in Invercargill last December.
He is arguably the most successful player to come from Cromwell coach and mentor Colin Cowie's stable.
Logan cemented his place in the national team after scoring 74, 69, 71 and 72 to finish third in the South Island men's championship at St Clair 10 days ago.
The event will be held at the same time as the women's under-18 event in which four New Zealand juniors will compete for the junior Tasman Cup at Tasmania's Devenport golf course.
The selected girls are Alanna Campbell (Bay of Plenty), Amelia Garvey (Canterbury), Ela Grimwood (North Harbour) and South Island women's winner, Momona Kabori (Canterbury).
