Unsubstantiated reports continue to swirl around Reid's name, with All Whites' captain Ryan Nelsen's club Blackburn Rovers mentioned along with Arsenal in recent days.
Reid, who scored the All Whites' stunning equaliser in the dying seconds against Slovakia, is already back at pre-season training with his Danish club FC Midtjylland after a short holiday in Dubai.
The 21-year-old defender had read reports of potential EPL interest but insisted there was nothing on the table.
"As long as it's positive (attention) a footballer always enjoys it," Reid told Radio Live today.
"That stuff that's reported in the media, half the time it's not true so unless I hear from the club or from agents I won't be taking it too seriously. It's nice to be acknowledged for your performances with the national team."
Reid was quoted in a Danish newspaper as saying one of the reasons he pledged his allegiance to New Zealand for the World Cup was to attract more attention among European clubs.
"I feel ready to try something else than FC Midtjylland," he told the paper.
For now, Reid was back on the pitch for his club who finished sixth in the Danish league last season and are scheduled to begin the new season later this month.
"The town I live in is quite quiet and it's nice to get out of the spotlight a bit," he said in the wake of his role at the World Cup in South Africa, where he formed a solid defensive line with Nelsen and Tommy Smith and proved his goalscoring ability in New Zealand's unbeaten campaign.
"The club started back training on June 21st so they're going hard out and I've been back on the pitch myself.
"I had a couple of days off in Dubai with some of the guys, then straight back into it. I've been pretty hard out so hopefully I get a break at some stage so I can head back to New Zealand and spend a bit of time with my family."
The Danish season runs until early December, before a winter break until March as the pitches freeze over.
