New Zealand suffered a surprise 13-run loss to the United States in the first of their warm-up games for the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup in Malaysia.
The Americans posted 120 for eight from their 20 overs, and the Kiwis could manage only 107 for nine in reply. Eve Wolland (25 off 26 balls) was the best of the New Zealand batters, while Darcy Prasad was left 23 not out.
