Otago suffered a 77-run loss to Wellington at the under-19 men’s tournament in Lincoln yesterday.
Wellington posted a formidable 385 for nine from 50 overs. Daniel Lawrence slapped 117 from 100 balls to help give Otago a sniff.
He combined with Mason Gain (50) in a 118-run stand for the fourth wicket.
