Otago has been eliminated from the one-day tournament after a comprehensive 73-run loss to Auckland in the preliminary final at Colin Maiden Park yesterday.
Anaru Kitchen (110 not out) and Neal Parlane (117) both scored centuries to help Auckland post an imposing 337 for three.
The pair added 222 for the third-wicket to take the game away from Otago.
Hamish Rutherford top-scored for the visitors with 62 from 60 deliveries and Darren Broom compiled 48.
Otago was eventually dismissed for 264 in a disappointing finish to its campaign.
Auckland will play Central Districts in the final at Pukekura Park on Sunday.
