Dion Lobb was able to celebrate his 250th game for the Green Island senior team with a 132-run win over Albion at Sunnyvale.

Green Island was able to post a respectable 208 runs, with Hamish Rutherford (46) and Mark Joyce (43) top-scoring. Lobb also contributed with 30 not out.

It was a struggle for Albion's bowlers, who were only able to knock over seven of Green Island's batsmen. Blair Brown took three wickets from his 10 overs.

Unfortunately for Albion, it would be Lobb's and Green Island's day, with Green Island's bowlers restricting Albion to just 76 runs.

Tearing apart Albion's batting line-up, Joyce spearheaded the bowling attack by bagging four wickets alongside Blair Soper, who picked up three.

Lobb was able to cap off his game with two wickets from his nine overs, making it a memorable day for the club cricket stalwart.

Kaikorai 197 beat University-Grange 129 by 68 runs

Kaikorai leaped ahead of University-Grange in the Dunedin 50-over competition, winning the top-of-the-table clash at Bishopscourt by 68 runs.

Despite slumping to 35 for two after 15 overs, Kaikorai was able to rebuild on the back of a 115-run partnership from co-captains Iain Robertson (74) and Geordie Scott (29) to reach 194 from 47 overs.

Craig Smith and Alistair Collie were the pick of the University-Grange bowlers, grabbing three wickets each.

Collie started the University-Grange innings with 52, taking the total to a comfortable 82 for two with 22 overs left.

What came next was a horror show as University-Grange lost the next six wickets for 10 runs, with Robertson and Tim Muir each picking up three of the six wickets.

The tail showed fight but it was not enough to stop University-Grange from losing by 68 runs.

North East Valley 214/8 beat Carisbrook-Dunedin 189 by 25 runs

A century from Lance Taylor set the base for North East Valley's 25-run victory over Carisbrook-Dunedin at Tonga Park.

Taylor led from the start but only had a small amount of support from his fellow batsmen, with the second-highest total of 33 coming from Tristan Eckoff.

It was a hard day for the Carisbrook-Dunedin bowlers with the eight wickets being spread out through the attack.

After a great start, with handy scores from Nick Eathorne (51) and Warren McSkimming (72), Carisbrook-Dunedin looked to be in a good position, before the last seven batsmen fell for just 34 runs.
