Junior Tall Ferns captain Elise Gilbert has signed with the Southern Hoiho for the Tauihi Basketball Aotearoa League.
The Waikato basketballer, who moved to Dunedin to study, was part of NBA Academy Games in Atlanta last year and captained the Junior Tall Ferns, earning All-Star 5 recognition at the Oceania Championships, and played in the Asia Cup in China earlier this year.
Abby Harris has also re-signed with the Southern Hoiho.
