Anne Reid said she had an annual tradition at her house, 28 Elizabeth St, to welcome in visitors to view her spectacular decorations.
"Every room is themed, coloured themed, I don’t know how long I’ve been doing it. It’s been many many years and it just exploded,
"It’s just grown. I would start with two trees, now there’s four or five, the hallways, everything," she said.
The tours have always been free, but this year, Mrs Reid said the house is embracing the spirit of giving.
"I’ve never asked for payment, but this year I’ve asked for a gold coin donation," she said.
All proceeds will be given to Melanie Ferguson, who volunteers around Gore to rescue stray and abandoned cats around Gore.
