Park bogged down by rain

Hyde Park was one of many areas affected by rain at the weekend. The downpour caused surface flooding in some areas across the Gore District. According to MetService, 19.2mm of rain fell in the district on Saturday and 11.6mm fell on Sunday . The average rainfall for the Gore District in June is 77.1mm.
