It was held at the Gore Croquet Club, with teams coming from all over New Zealand to participate.
Club captain Joyce MacLeod said the event went well, with good weather and a special visitor.
"It’s gone quite well, the weather has been very kind to us.
"On the first day as well, we had the best croquet player here, playing, and it was a big highlight to have him at our greens."
Mrs MacLeod said croquet was a ton of fun, and called for anyone looking to pick up a new hobby to give it a try.
"It’s a great game, a thinking game.
"A lot of strategies.
"It can be quite vicious too, you’re always hitting the other fellow away.
"Everyone who plays loves the game," she said.
