Radio Wanaka breakfast host Bradley Craig is heading for a new job in Invercargill.

Station owner Mike Regal told the Otago Daily Times yesterday after eight years of hosting ``Bradley's big breakfast'', Mr Craig was leaving to ``follow his dream''.

And, his dream is to be the breakfast host on The Hits radio station - a job once the domain of John ``Boggy'' McDowell, who left the station in 2012.

``Bradley grew up listening to Boggy McDowell on Classic Hits in Invercargill and it was his dream job to follow in the footsteps of Boggy McDowell.

``That's why he's packing the family up and moving to Invercargill.''

Mr Regal said he was advertising for a new breakfast host and would be filling in himself until a replacement was found for Mr Craig.

``He's done a wonderful, wonderful job for us here and he will be greatly missed.''

Mr Craig is overseas on holiday but due back on air in Wanaka for his final week next week.
