The band formed at the University of Otago in 2021 and consists of Sam Charles on vocals and guitar, Logan Edwards as lead guitarist, Alex Kendall on bass and Seth Sinclair on drums.
The band members were originally from Auckland, Christchurch and Oamaru, but considered Dunedin their home, Mr Charles said.
He said that although they had played the Beerfest and the Winter Solstice festival not long ago, this was the first time they had done something like Rhythm & Alps.
He said they were very excited after finishing their opening set at the festival, despite the rain which started pouring down not long after they took to the stage.
"It was good fun. A couple of people braved the rain to come and see us which was nice," he said.
The band played some of their original songs and many from their debut album, Archetype.
They released the album late last year and then toured all over the country, playing some sold-out venues in Christchurch, Queenstown, Wellington, Hamilton and Auckland.
