The man injured in Saturday’s fatal plane crash near Lake Hāwea remains in a critical condition in Dunedin Hospital.
Ivan Van de Water died when the light aircraft crashed in a remote part of the Dingle Burn valley, east of Lake Hāwea and north of Wānaka, on Saturday afternoon.
Don Grant had to be cut from the wreckage, before being flown to Dunedin Hospital.
His twin brother, Doug, said there was no further update on his condition. — APL
