Police were called out after the sudden death of a man at a Makarora property yesterday.
A police media spokeswoman confirmed police attended a property on Makarora-Lake Hawea Rd (State Highway 6), between Weka St and Wilkin Rd, yesterday afternoon.
It had appeared the man had been felling a tree when he died.
The death was not considered suspicious, she said.
