Director Bev Rudkin told the Otago Daily Times this week she could think of at least three occasions when goods from the shop had been taken without payment.
One of the most upsetting had been the loss of a full-length woman's coat, priced at $80, taken from a mannequin in the window of the Brownston St shop about 11am on Tuesday, April 19.
Ms Rudkin said she was preparing to look through CCTV footage from the area, and the trust operating the shop would be considering ways of improving the shop's security.
Shop manager Megan Carwardine-Read said two weeks ago a worn, dirty pair of jandals had been left in the changing room by someone who walked out with footwear they had not paid for.
Proceeds from the shop go to the new Upper Clutha Hospice, part of an aged-care facility at Wanaka's Aspiring Retirement Village, which is due to open in October.
The shop was burgled in September 2013, resulting in an upsurge in stock being donated.
