Bike enthusiasts from all over the world are about to "stomp" Wānaka for three days of presentations and workshops.

The Destination Mountain Biking Forum is being hosted by Bike Glendhu in Wānaka from November 5-7.

Bike Glendhu operations manager Kelsi Mackay said the forum would offer attendees the chance to dive deeper into specific topics and gain valuable insights and skills to take back to their own communities or businesses.

Ms Mackay said the Destination Mountain Biking Forum was being held in New Zealand for the first time, and staff were "incredibly excited" about the forum and looking forward to meeting the participants.

"This event is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Aotearoa’s vibrant biking community and the epic natural beauty of Wānaka."

She said topics would include trail-building, best safety practices, innovative business models, marketing strategies, and international bike events.

The mountain-biking community was expanding worldwide so the event promised to be "a pivotal moment for the New Zealand industry".

Bike Glendhu has a 40km trail network based near the Glendhu Station Woolshed, the conference venue.
