A woman is seriously injured after two motorcycles collided in Southland this afternoon.
A police spokeswoman said a helicopter was dispatched from Queenstown to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Otahu-Eastern Rd and Run 47 Rds, which is near Clifden in Western Southland.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 1.35pm.
A St John spokeswoman said the woman was in a serious condition and transferred to Dunedin Hospital by helicopter.
