Two people were taken to hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Bluff last night.
A police spokeswoman said emergency services were alerted to the collision at the intersection of Gore St and Marine Parade about 8.03pm.
One person received serious injuries and a second person had moderate injuries - both were taken to Southland Hospital.
It was unknown how many people in were involved in the crash.
A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said two crews from the Bluff Volunteer Fire Brigade and a third from Kingswell Fire Station responded.
