A school bus has come off a central Southland road this morning, although there are no reported injuries, police say.
The bus was heading along SH96 on the Winton-Wreys Bush Highway when it left the road and went into a ditch.
Emergency services were called to the scene at 9am, where the bus was blocking the west-bound lane.
The incident occurred between Bayswater Rd and Heddon Bush Rd, about a 40-minute drive from Invercargill.
While St John ambulance were told to stand down at 10am, crew who had arrived at the scene checked over two patients as a precaution.
