Firefighters examine the remains of a shed that caught fire on Woolshed Rd, near Hanleys Farm, yesterday.

A Fire and Emergency New Zealand spokesman said three fire trucks, one from Frankton and two from Queenstown, responded to the fire at 1.35pm.

It was extinguished in about half an hour.

The cause of the fire in the shed, which had lithium-ion batteries inside, was unknown, but a fire investigator from Invercargill began examining the scene yesterday, the spokesman said.

No-one was injured in the incident.
